Tools for Machine Learning

Where are we going with Big Data.

Almost every home at present has home appliances from noteworthy brands, at enough homes to give us enough data with which we can make tangible and near perfect predictions. By the end of 2015 we should be able to precisely deduce which washing machine a given customer will likely order. In the future the customers may not have to go to individual stores and check multiple brands and several features of devices to choose the final product. Big data analytic's will help manufacturers to narrow down their product offering as they know exactly which product the customers are gonna buy.

All the customer will have to choose will be price and the corresponding product will be delivered. Even the brand as a parameter may vanish as almost all brand offer products with similar features. With Big Data manufacturers will see which product is dominating and manufacture that on large scale resulting in its price reduction inturn more adoption and the versions of product if 10 now may become 2 or maximum 3 and eventually 1 resulting in one product or brand dominating the entire world. So far the business has been about variety of products, because we have no idea what consumers are gonna like and we have to make one with every combination and every permutation to stay on growth curve as Samsung is more eloquently doing right now.

And all this is at manufacturing because of which only at sales we will be able to deduce the products success. So we with our human learning capabilities are creating machines which will be able to help us deduce the success of a product before manufacturing thus reducing manufacturing cost at large scale and narrower category of products or must i say fine tuned predicted category of product. This will result in the time the average consumer spends in choosing a particular product thus liberating him to focus on better parts of his life.

Explore Big Data and Make the Machines Learn - Kaggle

For the big data enthusiasts who are thinking where is the data for me to play (analyze) and learn, here is an boot camp site which has contests or job or tasks or competition or whatever you call it, but they give you access to real world data given you are a professional. They give you actual data and ask you to solve real world problems. Definitely one of the place to start if you want to make it big in the machine learning.

Never mind about winning the actual competition, leave it for the experts for the beginning but take a look at the data, download them and play in your favorite tool, it will give you amazing perspective of what you are dealing with when you say big data and how the little insights that the big data gives completely unconventional perspective of the world around us. It is more of a self discovery of the old connections in your brain and making new ones. At one point you will totally realize that you have discovered something new. with the unique logic in your brain. Life can never be redundant. So it is highly unlikely someone must have got your perspective of that data although it is possible.

Soon in the upcoming posts we will start exploring the different tools that are available for machine learning and how to get our hands into them.

We are only what we make of it.

Hi People of Earth,

I have been wanting to become a niche and passionate blogger ever since i got my first email id. I think it was when i was in my college year 1 and it was in yahoo domain as one of my friend introduced me to it. I am glad i became intelligent with the internet that i found gmail and switched to it and then i learned how easy it is to become a blogger, I just have to type something in the site called blogger. I started creating several blogs, sometimes created all together a new email account thinking my blogs are gonna overflow the web and i will need to have a separate account for that. I thought my first blog is going to become a masterpiece.

But sadly not just the first but consistently a series of blogs that i created post that can only be named as experiments. I know i am still in the learning period, so i did not look down. I have been learning about successfully blogging and true quality content but was only distracted by the noise of the internet and my brain and could to stick to one topic. I was just blogging whatever came to my mind thinking if i like it there will be atleast some human beings on this planet who will also like it. Following are my experiments just to mention. Only those that i remember.

Keep "-" Watch "-" ing - I deleted it as i hated it myself
TU2DO - Another experiment

Tejut - Still Alive, :) Where my occasional thoughts go in. Not a very bad one, check its stats below. I even made $19 with it. But was very random content and as i was still hunting my niche area so i can only say it is a good blog not a world class one where i will be blogging outside the niche area for which i made this blog. Eventually turning it also into a high quality blog as i become better everyday.

Now here i am the day when i found my niche not just in blogging but several aspects of my professional life. I read a lot, I read like 60K to 70K words per day. I was counting on this skill of mine to take me to new levels in my journey. There may be some people thinking that is still less and i do 2L words per day. May be. But i will be getting there soon. It is the data that i process everyday, the knowledge that i gain from the data present everywhere helps me make better decision and prevent myself from making poor decision, the most important one.

The information is always there all i need to do is go and look for it and find it, Give it the respect it deserves and the time the respect demands and it takes care of me. But i never realized this for quite some time, I was just reading stuff having fun with what i read and suddenly saw myself hugely influenced by what i read and my decisions being majorly overwhelmed by what i read.

And then i started analyzing what is this one thing that is constantly driving my graph up. And i saw it, it was no illusion, no assumption or no prediction. It was this brilliant data that was making me brilliant and helping me keep my chart on a leading edge. And voila! I found my niche the "Brilliant Data".

In this blog i will be logging my analysis, findings, readings, knowledge, opinions and so and so for those who want to learn about big data, impact of data, business intelligence, personal intelligence and the science of data. I wish my dream of becoming a successful blogger comes true in this well planned and well learned initiative that i am starting today. Wish me luck.

Enjoy your life.
